  • Negotiate ‘Payment Terms’
  • Meet ‘Buyer’s CSR’ Standards
  • Lead country ‘Sourcing Strategy’ to meet sourcing targets

Supplier Management

  • Educate Supplier Base to meet BUYERS expectations through comprehensive induction (which includes standards regarding quality, packaging etc.)
  • Monitor Supplier Performance to ensure agreed performance criteria are met and appropriate corrective actions are implemented where required
  • Regular Reporting on Supplier Performance
  • Ensure On Time Shipments
  • Manage Quality of Shipped Merchandise - meets approved standards per pre production samples
  • Ensure Shipment Packaging is as per purchase order and Buyer’s manual
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Paperwork as Buyer's standards and operations procedures

Support Buying Team

  • Build “Concept to Customer" timeline for spring/summer and autumn/winter development and advise best time and frequency of travel
  • Plan Trips for the most efficient itinerary and align with objectives and cost budgets
  • Provide Advice and Arrangements for Buying Trips
  • Prepare Suppliers and Product Teams so buying trip objectives are realistically set and accomplished as planned
  • Provide market intelligence that is relevant to the needs of the various brands and their customer profile
